Description

In a remote outpost of the North West Mounted Police, Corporal Rand finds himself thrust into a tangled web of deceit and danger. A prospector, heavy with cash and guarded by a moose‑hide cord, has been drugged in a cramped road‑house, while a shadowy thief lurks nearby, unable to complete his grim task. The tense atmosphere is heightened by the presence of “Frenchie” Frischette, the gruff keeper of the establishment, and a handful of half‑asleep patrons whose keen ears could catch the slightest disturbance.

As the night deepens, Rand’s sharp instincts pick up on every creak and cough, forcing him to confront the unsettling scene before him. The fragile balance between law, greed, and survival teeters on a knife’s edge, promising a chase through the frozen wilderness that will test Rand’s courage and his commitment to justice.
