Description

On a wind‑blasted trading post at Fort Good Faith, seasoned fur trader Dick Kent leans over a rough pine table, caught in a heated conversation between the eager prospector Murky Nichols and a stoic mounted policeman. They spread a torn map and point to a series of cryptic lines that mark a mysterious route through the unforgiving Dominion Range—a passage whispered about as Blind Man’s Pass.

The men argue over whether the passage is mere legend or a hidden corridor that saved the life of the famed trapper “Daddy” McInnes, whose body and a cache of flawless black fox pelts were recently discovered. Nichols is convinced the route exists, while Corporal Rand, fresh from a two‑week search, insists that only extraordinary patience—or sheer luck—could reveal the narrow opening that slips between sheer rock walls.

Intrigued and restless, Kent steps closer, his curiosity ignited. As the debate unfolds, the prospect of a peril‑filled trek into the remote mountains looms, promising a test of endurance, wit, and the unyielding spirit of the frontier.
