Description

The story opens on a sun‑drenched tennis court at a country school, where the rivalry between Merriwa and Kooringal schools has the whole community buzzing. Parents, teachers and locals fill the stands, their chatter a blend of politics and piano recitals, while the young players battle for a chance at victory. In the midst of this charged atmosphere, the Weston twins—Jean and Josephine—find themselves thrust into the final as the unlikely representatives of their school.

Jean and Jo are a tight‑knit pair, their bond evident in every frantic rally and whispered challenge. Though outmatched and initially hesitant, they decide to throw caution to the wind, embracing a desperate, improvisational style that thrills the crowd. Their raw talent and fierce determination hint at a larger journey beyond the match, promising both personal growth and the unfolding of the quirky, tight‑knit community that surrounds them.
