Description

In the bustling seaside academy of Elmwood, a yearly boat race turns into a showcase of youthful pride and fierce rivalry. When the seasoned crew of the Mist, led by the confident Gus Layton, lines up against Bob Nellis’s spirited Zephyr, the crowd expects an easy win for the champions. Instead, the Zephyr surges ahead, crossing the finish line with a dazzling lead that electrifies the spectators and sparks a heated challenge for a rematch.

Buoyed by their unexpected triumph, Bob and his crew dive deeper into the world of sailing, where secrets linger beneath the surface of every tide. As the boys plot their next contest, they uncover a tangled web of promises, hidden motives, and a chance encounter that may thrust one of them into a life at sea far beyond the academy’s calm waters. The story follows their daring exploits and the unlikely hero who finds himself a sailor—whether he likes it or not.
