THE END
A fierce storm lashes a remote island as a ship is tossed on relentless waves. Amid the chaos, a solitary figure watches from a hidden cliff, his outstretched arms directing the tempest with a whispered command. The wrecked crew, bewildered and drenched, soon discovers they have been brought to a place where magic and nature intertwine, and where every rustle of the foliage hints at unseen eyes.
The island’s master, a learned exile, recounts his own fall from power and the betrayal that forced him to the sea. He governs the land with a mysterious book, his loyal spirit servant, and a humbled native who resents his rule. As the cast of strangers—nobles, a jester, a young lover—explores this strange realm, rivalries surface and old grudges simmer, setting the stage for a tale of redemption, wonder, and the delicate balance between control and forgiveness.

1564–1616
A playwright, poet, and actor from Stratford-upon-Avon, he created characters and lines that have stayed alive for more than four centuries. His stories of love, ambition, jealousy, power, and forgiveness still feel startlingly human.
