Description

Rick Brant and his best friend Scotty are spending a breezy afternoon on Spindrift Island, perfecting a simple yet deadly sling. Their playful competition turns serious when a telegram arrives from the enigmatic Dr. Gordon, calling the duo to a secret rocket project. With his sister Barbara joining the fun, Rick’s curiosity is sparked, and the boys find themselves gearing up for an assignment that promises more than a splash of water.

The mission leads them far from the familiar shoreline to the remote, scarlet‑hued waters of a mysterious lake. There, hidden clues and puzzling inscriptions suggest an old mystery tied to a forgotten experiment. As the teens dive deeper into the enigma, they must blend quick thinking, scientific know‑how, and daring teamwork to uncover what lies beneath the surface.
