Description

Oliver Conrad returns home from school with books tucked under his arm, only to be drawn into an immediate showdown on a country estate’s lawn. A impulsive, aristocratic teen, Roland Kenyon, demands Oliver fetch a runaway ball, and when politeness is rebuffed, the encounter erupts into a bruising tussle. The clash reveals Oliver’s quiet confidence and physical agility, contrasting sharply with Roland’s brash entitlement. Their angry exchange sets a tone of rivalry that feels both personal and emblematic of broader class tensions.

The fight is just the opening move in a larger, city‑bound contest of wills. As word of the scuffle spreads, secret letters and hidden motives begin to surface, drawing Oliver into a web of conspiracies that test his resourcefulness. Allies appear in unexpected places—a gardener with a keen eye, strangers with their own agendas—while Oliver must decide whether to defend his independence or be swept up by the ambitions of those around him. The early struggle promises a gritty, determined journey through streets and alleys where courage is measured as much by wit as by fists.
