CHAPTER IXTHE SECRET OF THE SNAKE GUARD
In a sun‑dappled meadow where a kindly Doctor Muskrat spins tales for a curious rabbit named Nibble, the forest residents gather for a quiet evening. Nibble’s bright ears perk up at the rustle of leaves, while Stripes the skunk shuffles about, proud of his tidy reputation. Nearby, Tad Coon the raccoon slips in with a mischievous grin, and even the buzzing hive sends out a cloud of guard bees to keep watch over the clearing.
The calm is quickly unsettled when Tad’s joke about the angry bees turns into a real sting of trouble for Stripes. Accusations of past misdeeds surface, and the friends find themselves teetering between a playful squabble and a genuine showdown. As Doctor Muskrat offers sage, sleepy advice, listeners are left wondering whether the meadow will stay peaceful or if the wavy‑tailed warrior will have to step in.
