Description

Four adventurous teens from Chicago have taken the sleek, sea‑ready motor boat Rambler on a bold new quest up the St. Lawrence River. Fresh from daring voyages on the Amazon, Columbia, Colorado and Mississippi, they’ve shipped their vessel to New Brunswick and are now navigating the mist‑laden waters toward Lake Ontario. The boys—Clay, Alex, Julian and Case—are a tight‑knit crew, each around sixteen, sharing a love of speed, a trusty bulldog named Joe, and even a young grizzly cub named Teddy for company on the long nights.

On a moon‑starved August night, a solitary lantern flickers on the Rambler as fog rolls in from Newfoundland, and a sudden, mysterious presence seems to approach the deck. The wind howls, the boat rocks, and the boys brace for whatever—or whoever—has come out of the darkness. Their camaraderie and quick wit will be tested as they confront the unknown on this remote stretch of the river, promising a fresh wave of excitement for listeners.
