Description

Three daring teens set out aboard the motorboat Rambler, navigating the shifting currents of the Colorado River where desert, jungle, and towering mountains converge. Fresh from daring voyages on the Columbia and the Amazon, they bring along a mischievous bear cub and a loyal bulldog, adding both comic relief and unexpected challenges to their journey. As the sun climbs over the Gulf of California, the boys prepare for breakfast, their camaraderie evident in the playful banter that keeps spirits high despite the oppressive heat.

But the tranquil morning quickly gives way to mystery when a series of strange disappearances are reported along the river’s banks, hinting at hidden dangers beneath the sandbars and within the canyon walls. Determined to uncover the cause, the trio sets a course upriver, armed with curiosity, resourcefulness, and their unlikely animal companions. Listeners will be drawn into the vivid landscape and the early clues that promise a thrilling chase through one of nature’s most rugged frontiers.
