Description

A tidy bear named Bunyip Bluegum decides to leave his cramped tree‑house after a hilarious dispute with his whiskered Uncle Wattleberry. With a walking stick and a flair for polite conversation, he sets off into the Australian bush, unsure whether to be a traveller or a swagman, and quickly finds himself guided by a quirky poet’s advice. Along the way he encounters a cast of eccentric characters—talking animals, a mischievous band of bushmen, and a mysterious, endlessly refilling pudding that seems to have a mind of its own.

Together they embark on a light‑hearted quest, sharing riddles, songs, and plenty of slapstick mishaps as they search for the perfect spot to enjoy the magical treat. The story’s playful rhythm and vivid illustrations capture the charm of classic Australian folklore, making it a delightful listen for children and anyone who loves a good laugh mixed with a touch of wonder.
