The Boy Allies with Marshal Foch; or, The Closing Days of the Great World War

In the waning days of the Great War, two teenage volunteers find themselves thrust into the chaotic heart of the Western Front. Stationed with the American 32nd Division near Reims, they share cramped dugouts, whispered hopes, and the restless chatter of seasoned officers. When a fellow soldier bursts in with news that Austria has sought peace, the boys’ optimism clashes with the seasoned cynicism of their comrades, setting off a lively debate about trust, betrayal, and the fragile path toward an armistice.
