Description

Danny Meadow Mouse wakes up one bright morning feeling uneasy about something seemingly small—his tail. While his friends chatter about meals and sunshine, Danny can’t shake the envy he feels for his cousin Whitefoot’s long, elegant tail, and the worry begins to keep him hidden away. The meadow’s usual bustle turns quiet for him as he watches from the doorway, wondering why a simple difference should matter so much.

A kindly old Mr. Toad notices Danny’s gloom and gently probes, offering more than just friendly chatter. Their conversation nudges Danny toward the realization that a long tail isn’t what makes a meadow mouse brave or happy. As a lurking marsh hawk briefly shadows the scene, Danny’s worry is put in perspective, hinting at the adventure and self‑discovery that lie ahead. Listeners will follow his journey toward confidence, learning that true worth isn’t measured by a tail’s length but by the heart inside.
