Description

In the bustling streets of a Catalan town, the barber’s shop is more than a place for a trim; it’s a miniature gallery of prints, lyrical posters, and faded portraits that reveal the owner’s restless curiosity. N’Armando opens his doors before dawn, his lanky figure cloaked in a patchwork of eccentric clothing, his eyes the colour of pomegranate seeds. He moves through the routine of shaving and snipping while humming arias from La Traviata and dreaming of stages far beyond the cramped backroom he calls a salon.

Beneath the clatter of scissors lies a man caught between practicality and a lingering artistic yearning. A former singer whose voice was stolen by an untimely mishap, he now contemplates how to reclaim a sense of purpose, whether through whispered conversations with traveling priests or by resurrecting the flamboyant hairstyles of a bygone era. As the town’s whispers swirl around him, listeners will follow N’Armando’s quiet struggle to reconcile his daily trade with the lingering echo of a career that might still be within reach.
