Description

Three old schoolmates meet in a smoky café in Paris just after the Great War, each carrying a life that has drifted far from the familiar streets of their youth. One has become a wandering teacher, another a provincial doctor’s heir, and the third remains unattached, all still haunted by the silence that follows the battlefield. Their conversation starts with the usual updates, but a sudden spark of curiosity draws them toward a baffling coincidence they each witnessed while serving, an event that feels both accidental and oddly predestined.

What follows is a series of vivid recollections, each voice offering a distinct perspective on the same strange episode. The narrative weaves together humor, melancholy, and a subtle philosophical undercurrent, inviting listeners to ponder how random encounters can bind strangers together. As the friends exchange their fragmented memories, the story unfolds like a quiet investigation into fate, memory, and the lingering echo of a war that reshaped more than just borders.
