Description

High above a bustling Chicago fair, a daring young woman named Florence rides the glittering Sky Ride, marveling at illuminated towers and the city’s twinkling streets. From her lofty perch she spots a mysterious figure in a long yellow coat, his ears oddly elongated, clutching a three‑bladed knife that catches the lights like hidden jewels. Intrigued and uneasy, Florence watches as the stranger vanishes into an elevator, leaving a sudden sense that something far beyond a simple amusement ride is afoot. Determined not to let curiosity slip away, she darts after him, her own car plunging downward in a frantic chase.

The opening plunge thrusts Florence into a world of secret societies and whispered rumors that swirl through the fairgrounds’ glittering soirées. As she follows the enigmatic man, clues about a hidden treasure and a dangerous conspiracy begin to surface, promising a night of suspense that will test her courage and wits.
