Description

The city of beautiful towers rises like a crown of stone from rolling hills cloaked in olive‑green silk. Its narrow streets wind beneath shadowy walls, while slender spires reach toward the sun, catching its gold in cracked windows. A hush of cold air and distant echoes of bells give the place an almost timeless, dream‑like quality.

Among the city’s noble families, one member feels suffocated by his low perch. From his lofty palace, he watches neighbors glide past the cathedral in gilded splendor and vows to build a tower that will lift him above their glittering roofs. Determined to claim a broader view, he begins to raise a slender, soaring structure that seems to grow like a palm trunk toward the heavens.

The townspeople watch the rising column with a mix of awe and apprehension, murmuring about its stability and the pride that fuels its construction. As the tower climbs, the rivalry between the ambitious lord and his peers tightens, hinting at a clash between lofty ambition and the fragile foundations of the city.
