Description

The story opens on a bright May morning, when a bustling parade of carts, horses, and laughing youngsters rolls out of a small town toward the countryside. Eeva, fresh from a music school in Helsinki, rides with her friends Selma and the brooding Väinö, their laughter echoing over fields of budding flowers. Their easy camaraderie masks a gentle restlessness, as Eeva quietly muses on the pull of distant crowds and the quiet melody that lives inside her heart.

As the trio follows an old, winding road past ancient birch trees and a shimmering river, the landscape shifts from orderly town lanes to untamed hills. Their conversation drifts between carefree banter and deeper reflections on art, belonging, and the promise of adventure. The vivid descriptions and the characters’ youthful spirit draw listeners into a world where the simple joy of a spring journey hints at larger dreams yet to unfold.
