Description

When a Navy intelligence team crashes on a remote Haitian shore, Lieutenant Don Winslow and his stout sidekick, Lieutenant “Red” Pennington, find themselves stranded in sweltering jungle heat. Their ragged uniforms and sun‑burned skin betray the hardships they've endured, but their training and resolve remain intact. Tasked with dismantling a shadowy crime syndicate that threatens to spark a global conflict, the pair must navigate treacherous terrain and hostile locals while keeping a high‑profile civilian, Mercedes Colby, safe.

The unseen mastermind behind the network, known only as the Scorpion, looms as a cunning adversary whose reach extends into every port and battlefield. As Winslow and Red pursue clues—from sabotaged submarines to hidden jungle outposts—they confront deadly traps and relentless pursuers. Their daring pursuit promises high‑octane naval action, daring escapes, and a battle of wits that could decide whether the world slips into war or finds a fragile peace.
