Description

Bob Henderson is the sort of boy who can’t sit still. In his small village he’s famous for clever tricks—paper “snappers” for schoolyard pranks and a knack for slipping away when chores call. When his mother finally sends him to fetch lard for a pie, Bob’s mind is already racing with a secret plan that promises more excitement than any ordinary errand.

What begins as a simple trip quickly spirals into a daring escapade, pulling Bob far beyond the familiar lanes of Moreville. A chance encounter with a mysterious vessel sets him on a course that tests his wits, courage, and the loyalty of friends he meets along the way. Listeners will follow Bob’s spirited journey from mischievous youngster to resourceful survivor, all while savoring the humor and heart of his early adventures.
