Description

Blacky the Crow is a restless wanderer of the Green Forest, ever‑watchful and quick to snatch whatever morsel he can find when snow and ice blanket the meadow. He roams far in search of sustenance, yet always returns to the familiar treetops where his fellow crows keep him company through the long, cold nights. Neighbors like Peter Rabbit and Happy Jack Squirrel debate whether his constant vigilance springs from conscience or simple curiosity, but none can deny the lively spirit that drives him.

When the last chill of winter lingers, Blacky spots the abandoned nest of the once‑dominant Red‑tail Hawk perched high among the branches. Intrigued, he swoops down to investigate, hoping the old roost might hide a hidden treasure or a clue to easier meals. His sharp eyes soon uncover something unexpected, setting off a chain of clever schemes that draw in friends, foes, and a clever owl named Hooty. As the forest awakens, Blacky’s daring plans begin to shape a lively tale of wit, teamwork, and the consequences of peering where one perhaps shouldn’t.
