Description

At the sunny crest of a lofty hill a grand hotel opens its doors to a carefree summer, and two inseparable girls make the surrounding meadow their kingdom. Dorothy, with bright blue eyes, and her dear friend Nancy, who has found a home with Dorothy’s family, spend their mornings chasing the mountain’s echo among birch trees and bluebells, delighting in the playful reply of the unseen voice. Their games are flavored with the old legend of the nymph Echo, a tale that turns each shout into a magical conversation with the hills themselves.

One bright afternoon a quiet newcomer slips silently into their playground, watching from behind a bush as the girls laugh and call. The mystery of this shy visitor hints at a new friendship and a gentle adventure that will weave through the summer’s discoveries. Listeners will feel the fresh mountain air, hear the joyful reverberations, and share in the simple wonder of childhood curiosity.
