High above the timber line, the snow‑capped peaks of the Rockies stretch into a crystal‑clear sky. A young girl, bundled in woolen furs and equipped with snowshoes, moves swiftly across the frozen ridge, her breath forming clouds in the thin air. When she discovers a massive wolf caught in an iron trap, she works silently and urgently to free the animal, the act revealing her deep bond with the wilderness.
The girl continues down the mountain, confronting a series of concealed snares set by hunters, each one a silent threat to the fragile ecosystem. Her quick thinking and intimate knowledge of the terrain allow her to dismantle the traps before more creatures are harmed. As dusk settles, the landscape glows with mauve and orchid hues, turning the harsh environment into a breathtaking canvas that underscores both peril and beauty. Listeners are invited to share her urgent race against time and her quiet reverence for the untamed wild.
