Description

Set against the harsh Atlantic crossing of 1630, this tale follows two orphaned siblings, Fred and Agnes, as they are taken under the wing of a compassionate woman in the cramped ship’s quarters. The children’s loss of their mother and the uncertainty of their father's fate frame a journey fraught with illness, storm‑tossed seas, and crowded decks. As the vessel finally reaches the fledgling Plymouth Colony, the young pair must adapt to a new world where survival depends on faith, community, and the promise of a fresh start.

In the early settlement, the siblings encounter the rugged realities of frontier life—building log cabins, sharing scarce supplies, and confronting tensions with neighboring native peoples. Through moments of kindness and hardship, the story paints a vivid portrait of the resilience and hope that drove countless families to forge a future in unfamiliar soil. Listeners will feel the echo of centuries‑old aspirations as Fred and Agnes learn what it means to belong to a community striving toward freedom.
