Description

In the shadow of the Andes, legends whisper of a colossal Incan hoard swallowed by storms and hidden deep in untamed jungle. Spanish conquistadors, driven by greed, uncovered only fragments, leaving most of the wealth untouched and its whereabouts a puzzle for generations. Tales speak of a lost ship laden with gold that vanished on the Pacific and of a secret city east of Peru where descendants of the fleeing Incas may still guard their riches. The dense forest and hostile tribes have kept the mystery alive, waiting for a daring explorer to unravel it.

Enter a restless former naval lieutenant, stranded in London after his ship was paid off, who hopes a daring venture will win the love of a lady whose father disapproves. Over a quiet drink with an experienced world‑traveler, he is urged toward South America, a land where his knowledge of Spanish could become his greatest asset. With a promise of adventure and the lure of unimaginable wealth, he sets his sights on the uncharted jungles that guard the Incas’ forgotten treasure.
