In a sun‑dappled meadow, a mischievous rabbit with sharp whiskers and a turned‑up tail spots a fresh carrot that his gentle brother has just been given. Instead of asking, he snatches the prize and brushes the kind rabbit with a painful scratch, sending the victim scurrying into a hidden burrow. The bold rabbit, oblivious to his own rudeness, plants himself on a nearby bench, feeling smug with his stolen treasure.
Unbeknownst to him, a hunter wandering nearby mistakes the perched rabbit for a curious bird and raises his gun. A sudden bang shatters the quiet, and when the smoke clears the bench holds only a torn carrot and a fluffy tail. The frightened rabbit darts away, his whiskers and tail torn, while the gentle sibling peeks cautiously from his refuge, wondering what comes next.
