CHAPTER VII THE SHARK LECTURES
In a snow‑bound town where icy roads and thick drifts make every step a challenge, Sam Parker gathers his friends in a ramshackle clubhouse they’ve christened the Safety First Club. The boys, each with a nickname that hints at their personalities, meet over the stove, trading jokes and sharing the worries that come with a bitter February. Their makeshift refuge, cluttered with old chairs and faded pictures, feels like a secret haven where they can plan and talk freely.
When an unexpected thaw turns the streets into a slick, treacherous mess, the boys discover that the real test of their club lies beyond harmless games. A sudden rise in the river forces them to confront a looming flood, pushing Sam and his mates to apply the practical lessons they’ve learned about caution, cooperation, and quick thinking. As they scramble to protect their town and each other, the adventure becomes a hands‑on lesson in responsibility and the value of looking out for one another.
