Description

The story opens on a wild thunderstorm that sweeps through the valley of Chaudière, tearing down fences, flooding bridges and rattling the quiet village. In its wake, the sky clears to a bright, scented calm, and we find a solitary tailor perched in his shop on Vadrome Mountain, still reeling from personal battles as fierce as the weather outside. The storm mirrors his own storm of emotions—a tangled mix of regret, love for a lost Rosalie, and a yearning for redemption—that have haunted him for months.

As the tempest fades, he reaches for paper and pen, letting the rhythm of the wind guide his thoughts onto the page. His verses drift between questions of faith, the weight of past promises, and the search for a sign of peace amid the lingering darkness. Through lyrical musings and vivid descriptions, the narrative invites listeners to sit with a man caught between memory and hope, listening to the quiet after the storm.
