Description

Four close‑knit friends find themselves swamped in a cluttered living room, desperately trying to fit a mountain of clothes, trunks and accessories into a single suitcase before a five‑o’clock deadline. Their banter reveals distinct personalities—Cora the organizer, Bess the skeptical realist, Marita the timid perfectionist, and Belle the good‑natured plump sister—while the ticking clock turns packing into a comic struggle. As the train to Crystal Bay looms, the girls promise adventure, but first they must conquer their own chaos.

Arriving at the breezy seaside resort, the girls discover a curious red oar washed ashore, sparking whispers of a hidden secret that seems to beckon them into the town’s mysteries. Their enthusiasm shifts to cautious curiosity as they navigate new acquaintances, a looming druggist and the rumoured “Chelton” vessel that may hold clues. With humor and resolve, the friends brace for a weekend that promises both laughter and unexpected intrigue.
