Description

In the wild reaches of the western plains, a ragtag band of trappers huddles around a flickering lantern as night falls. Dennis Regan, a quick‑talking Irish youth, argues with the grizzled veteran Pap Byers while the nervous Sam Glass keeps a wary eye on the surrounding darkness. Their leader, Captain Benning, a young officer known for daring and discipline, tries to impose order just as an unexpected threat looms.

The calm shatters when a sudden midnight attack erupts, forcing the men to confront a hostile force that could be either rival trappers or the feared Blackfoot warriors roaming the hills. As bullets fly and nerves fray, loyalties are tested and the thin line between bravery and folly becomes starkly clear. Amid the chaos, the promise of hidden danger and a secret that could change the balance of power hints at a deeper struggle waiting beyond the immediate fight.
