Description

The story opens with a plump, cheerful child whose every smile is traced in tiny dimples, a gift from passing fairies. Each morning his mother sits by the window, combing his tangled curls while weaving a tale about a mysterious wolf, a ritual that fills their modest cottage with warmth and laughter. Across the wood’s edge lives Barty, a bright‑eyed boy of humble means who dreams of a sled to glide across the sparkling winter snow.

One crisp morning Barty dons his scarlet cap and steps into the frosted forest, his tiny boots crunching over the fresh powder. At the tree line he comes face to face with an immense wolf, its eyes steady and unexpectedly gentle. The encounter sparks a quiet adventure that explores kindness, bravery, and the strange magic that lives in the heart of the woods.
