Description

When a nervous American guest reports a troubling hole in his hotel wardrobe, Chief Inspector Pointer and his team from New Scotland Yard descend on the modest inn. Their meticulous examination quickly uncovers a hidden body—a young man who vanished days earlier under mysterious circumstances. The discovery brings a cryptic suicide note and a baffling web of motives to the fore.

As the detectives interview the enigmatic hotel manager, the chained‑eyed American, and other locals, they must sift through false leads, secret correspondences, and the lingering scent of a cheap funeral. The case twists between personal desperation and hidden jealousy, hinting that the tragedy may be only the surface of a deeper conspiracy. Listeners are drawn into a tightly plotted whodunit, where every detail in the cramped rooms could turn the investigation on its head.
