Description

Patricia Meade arrives at a modest hotel suite, the temporary home she’ll share with her father for the next three months. Fresh from a long journey, she struggles to adjust to the cramped rooms while the memory of her mother’s fragile health lingers like a silent alarm. Her father, a former officer who survived captivity, tries to shield her with stories of duty and hope, but the weight of the war and his own lingering wounds seep into their conversations.

Soon, the quiet of the hotel is broken by whispered warnings and an odd crimson stain that appears in unexpected places. As Patricia and the other guests begin to notice strange notes, shadows on walls, and inexplicable disappearances, a tangled web of secrets starts to unfold. The mystery beckons her to piece together clues, testing her courage and the bonds of family amid an atmosphere charged with intrigue and lingering wartime tension.
