Description

The tale opens on the quiet shores of Ithaca, where the young Telemachus watches his father disappear into the gathering fleet bound for Troy. Fueled by a mix of yearning and duty, he sets out on his own voyage, hoping to hear news of Odysseus and to prove himself a worthy successor. Along the way he encounters veterans like Menelaus and hears the first whispers of the legendary war.

Meanwhile, the story recalls the cunning king who feigned madness, plowing a field with an ox, an ass, and salt to avoid the call to battle, only to reveal his sharp mind and accept Agamemnon’s summons. His departure marks the start of a decade‑long odyssey that will test his wits against cyclopes, sirens, and the wrath of the sun‑god. Listeners are invited to wander with both father and son as ancient heroism meets the restless curiosity of a new generation.
