Description

A young Jason is whisked from danger into the legendary care of Chiron, the wise centaur who once taught heroes like Heracles. Hidden on the slopes of Mount Pelion, the infant is raised among forests and myths, his destiny hinted at by a ruby‑set ring and the subtle favor of Hera herself. Meanwhile, the kingdom of Iolcus is torn apart by the power‑hungry Pelias, whose usurping of the throne forces Jason’s father, Aeson, into exile and sets the stage for a future quest.

As Jason matures under Chiron’s tutelage, he learns the arts of war, medicine, and prophecy, emerging as a charismatic leader with a promise to restore his family’s honor. The tale follows his first steps toward gathering a band of companions, each with their own storied past, and the ominous call to retrieve the Golden Fleece—a symbol of legitimacy and hope for a kingdom on the brink of chaos. The early chapters weave together family betrayal, divine intrigue, and the making of a hero whose journey will echo through the ages.
