Description

Teddy Benson is the kind of kid who turns a lazy afternoon into a daring experiment. With his friends Dick Kelly and Joe Denton, he spends countless hours tweaking rubber‑band powered model planes, arguing over wind direction and dreaming of the Johnson Cup. When they finally line up for a friendly race across Mason’s meadow, the excitement feels as big as the open sky.

Mid‑flight, a shy, silver‑streaked deer darts into the clearing, startling the boys and halting their competition. Intrigued, Teddy and his companions follow the creature deeper into the woods, discovering hidden trails and whispered stories that have lived there for generations. Their quest turns a simple contest into a lesson about curiosity, teamwork, and the quiet mysteries that linger just beyond the familiar fields.
