Description

Two lively siblings, Jan and Ted, arrive at Cherry Farm for the first week of their summer vacation. Known around town as “The Curlytops” because of their tightly curled hair, they spend the opening morning wrestling with tangled locks and their mother’s gentle lessons on proper speech. Their playful banter over missing “g” sounds and a comically stubborn comb sets a warm, humorous tone that captures the carefree spirit of childhood.

With their baby brother, affectionately called Trouble, the trio soon trades the bathroom for the great outdoors. The sun‑drenched meadow invites them to swing in hammocks, build makeshift tents, and imagine themselves as daring Indians. Their adventures are filled with the simple joys of country life—exploring the farmyard, chasing friends down the lane, and navigating the occasional mischief that a curious toddler brings. Listeners will feel the breezy charm of a summer’s start, where family bonds and mischievous fun go hand in hand.
