Description

A looming, centuries‑old manor sits on the edge of a misty lake, its four towers crowned with metal spheres that clang in the wind. Inside, narrow, labyrinthine passages lead to hidden chambers where shadows seem to whisper of long‑forgotten rites. The estate’s current mistress, a stern matriarch who has outlived most of her peers, runs the household with an iron hand, demanding strict discipline from servants and heirs alike. Yet even she cannot deny the strange allure the place holds over those who cross its threshold.

Into this world steps a young man returning from war, haunted by loss and drawn to the castle’s brooding beauty. He finds refuge among the sprawling gardens, the orchard, and the dense forest that skirts the grounds, while his heart wrestles with the memory of a love cut short. As he navigates the expectations of his family and the murmurs of the ancient walls, his path hints at both redemption and danger, setting the stage for a tale of loyalty, memory, and the inexorable pull of the past.
