Description

In a England bruised by Norman rule, a young boy watches the hard hand of law crush the humble. When a ploughman's family is driven from their home for a single act of desperation, the boy—future Robin Hood—swears to make the rich share their excess with the starving. The opening scenes paint a vivid picture of forests, harsh taxes, and a kingdom whose distant king seems both revered and powerless.

From that solemn promise spring a series of lively episodes in which Robin gathers a band of loyal men and women in the greenwood. Their deeds range from daring rescues to clever tricks that outwit greedy sheriffs, all while keeping a strict code: no harm to women, no destruction of homes, and a reverent nod to the true king. Listeners will hear the humor, bravery, and the timeless idea that justice can sometimes wear a thorny mask, making these tales as entertaining as they are thought‑provoking.
