Description

Set against the waning glory of the Song dynasty, the palace teems with whispers of prophecy and ambition. When a celestial omen suggests danger to the heir, the emperor’s two expectant consorts—Li and Liu—become pawns in a deadly contest for the future throne. A scheming courtier, driven by jealousy, conspires to replace the newborn with a harmless creature, hoping to eliminate his rival and secure his own power.

In the midst of this turmoil, a humble palace servant named Chen Lin discovers the foul plot. Guided by his sense of loyalty and righteousness, he risks his life to rescue the infant and hide it from the conspirators. As he navigates secret passages and hidden allies, the listener is drawn into a tense game of deception, where honor clashes with treachery and the fate of an empire hangs in the balance.
