Description

A violent spring storm in 1865 sends a lone hot‑air balloon careening over the Pacific, its five passengers fighting panic as the gondola tumbles toward the sea. When the craft finally crashes, the survivors find themselves stranded on a seemingly deserted shore, their only supplies a handful of valuables and a single match that ignites their first, cautious meal.
