Description

On a green hillside in a tiny Irish village, a young girl named Moira lies in the soft grass, eyes lifted to the endless blue above. The world around her—whispering trees, a stone‑capped church, a thatched cottage where her grandmother cooks—glitters with simple, hard‑won happiness. Yet beneath the pastoral calm, Moira’s heart hums with restless yearning, sparked by the stories Father Murphy tells of distant lands across the sea.

He paints vivid pictures of bustling American cities, towering libraries, and farms filled with marvelous machines. Each tale fans the flame of Moira’s imagination, and the horizon seems to beckon her toward a future brimming with possibility. As she watches the waves crash far off, she feels destiny’s gentle tug, urging her to step beyond the familiar fields and chase the bright, unknown world she has only ever dreamed of.
