Description

When Doctor Hugh gathers his family around a set of blueprints, the quiet country house of Rainbow Hill is about to change. The summer heat hums with the promise of construction, but the real excitement lives in the witty banter and bright personalities of Rosemary, Sarah, and their mother, whose indomitable spirit lights the room. As they anticipate the new wing, each character imagines how the altered home will spark fresh adventures and a little mischief.

Soon the hammer and saw begin their chorus, and the girls find themselves swept into a series of charming escapades—from secret hide‑outs in half‑finished rooms to spontaneous contests of bravery. Their curiosity draws them to the neighboring farm, where a bemused farmer’s question about their first visit sparks a day of unexpected lessons about friendship, responsibility, and the simple joys of country life. Through laughter and occasional worry, the family discovers that the true foundation of Rainbow Hill is not stone, but the bonds they forge together.
