Description

Rhodes and Elizabeth Morrison—known to everyone as Brother and Sister— start each day in a bustling household where chores become tiny adventures. A rainy morning finds them at the breakfast table, a half‑drunk glass of milk, a whispered promise of a birthday present, and a sudden dash out the door that sets the day in motion. Their older sister Louise teases them about the mystery gift, while their mother’s gentle reminders keep the routine humming.

Back inside, the siblings turn ordinary tasks into games: scattering crumbs for the ever‑watchful birds, building pretend fences from bread pieces, and shaping dough‑men while Molly kneads bread. Their imagination fills the rainy house, turning rain‑soaked windows into stages for playful hops and whispered plans. As they tidy the table and share laughter, the Morrison home feels both cozy and full of possibilities, hinting at the larger escapades that await the inseparable pair.
