Description

Around a crackling fire on the banks of a swift Dakota creek, the village’s warriors and chiefs form a solemn circle. Their faces are set in quiet expectation as a towering leader steps out of his wigwam, his belt heavy with relics of battle. The atmosphere hums with ancient rites, each man awaiting the words that will guide their people.

The gathering is interrupted by a chilling tale from a young hunter called the “Cruel Eagle‑Hawk.” He speaks of a ghostly figure that rose from the stone of a great serpent’s tomb—a pale giant wielding a gun and brandishing a blood‑red heart. The hunter’s own weapon falters, the ghost vanishes, and a lingering dread spreads through the council.

As the night deepens, the chiefs debate the omen, weighing the threat of this forest specter against the restless spirits of their own war‑torn world, setting the stage for an uneasy confrontation.
