Description

Curlie Carson is a teenage operative for the U.S. Bureau of Secret Service of the Air, famed for his uncanny ability to hear faint radio transmissions. Assigned to the icy frontier of Alaska, he and his companion Joe Marion set up camp on the Valdez Glacier, braving a howling gale as they track a shadowy saboteur who has been disrupting radiophone messages across the region. Armed with a portable aerial and a mysterious whisper from a distant girl on the airwaves, Curlie must decipher clues that point to a dangerous man traveling south along the legendary Yukon Trail.

The story follows Curlie’s trek through unforgiving wilderness, where every gust of wind and crack of ice could conceal an ally or a threat. As the young agent pushes forward, the tension builds between his duty to protect vital communications and the eerie warning that the adversary is both “big” and “awfully dangerous.” Listeners will be drawn into a pulse‑quickening chase set against the stark beauty of the Arctic frontier.
