Description

A thick, unyielding fog swallows five men as they row away from Carnglass, the sea around the remote island forever restless. A sudden, unnatural flame erupts on the cliff‑topped shore, followed by distant crackle like gunfire, and the helmsman’s trembling sign forces them to retreat, the eerie glow fading behind them. The night leaves a lingering sense that the island itself is a living memory, waiting for someone daring enough to confront its secrets.

In a sleek office far from the Atlantic, the iron‑minded Duncan MacAskival obsesses over that very speck of rock, a place his family left behind centuries ago. He commissions Hugh Logan, a battle‑scarred veteran turned corporate negotiator, to purchase the desolate cliffs, crumbling castle and the surrounding wilderness that haunt his imagination. As Logan contemplates the offer, the contrast between industrial ambition and the haunting, wind‑swept landscape of Carnglass promises a journey where personal legacy collides with an ancient, unsettling allure.
