Description

In the shadow of the ancient Roman streets, the enigmatic Count of Monte‑Christo shelters his young daughter Zuleika, a striking blend of her mother Haydée’s oriental grace and her father’s fierce resolve. Now fifteen, she studies at a convent while the marble palazzo that serves as the family’s temporary home overlooks the Tiber and the towering silhouette of St. Angelo. Zuleika’s quick mind and unshakable spirit draw the admiration of all who meet her, setting the stage for a new generation of intrigue.

Enter Viscount Giovanni Massetti, a passionate Roman noble whose impulsive heart is torn between Zuleika and the alluring flower‑girl Annunziata Solara. A reckless flirtation spirals into accusations of kidnapping and murder, thrusting Giovanni into a vortex of suspicion that threatens both his reputation and his love. As alliances shift and secrets surface, the drama unfolds amid sweeping adventures, clandestine meetings, and the looming presence of the Count himself, promising a tale as tangled and riveting as the legend that began it.
