Amid the swirl of silk and steel stands a tall, composed officer in the plain uniform of the Imperial Guard. Though his demeanor is calm, the furrowed brow he wears betrays a deep worry that only a trusted few perceive. Summoned by the Tsar himself, he is entrusted with a desperate courier mission—carrying vital dispatches through a land torn by unrest—while the palace doors close behind him, sealing the revelers in oblivion.
