Description

In the bustling streets of early‑fifteenth‑century Milan, a young nobleman cloaked in disguise navigates a world of rival families, secret oaths and looming feuds. Arrigo Bianchi, haunted by a blood‑soaked promise of vengeance, discovers that his quest for retribution is tangled with a forbidden affection that could either redeem or destroy him. The city’s towering cathedrals and shadowed alleys pulse with political intrigue, offering a vivid backdrop for his inner turmoil.

When a challenge arrives from the formidable Giovanni Pusterla, the stakes rise beyond personal honor. Arrigo must decide whether to meet the threat with blade or restraint, aware that each choice reverberates through the fragile alliances of the Ghibelline faction. As storm clouds gather over Milan, the novel paints a portrait of loyalty, love, and the heavy cost of pride, inviting listeners to walk beside a conflicted hero on the brink of his destiny.
